Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice is proof that games can tackle mature storytelling and taboo themes with aplomb. While other games have explored the subject of mental illness, psychosis is normally depicted as a cheap way to make a villain appear frightening, or worse yet, for comedic relief.
